GOD'S IMPENDING JUDGMENT OF AMERICA
"For behold, the LORD will come in fire and His chariots like the whirlwind,
to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire.
For the LORD will execute judgment by fire and by His sword on all flesh,
and those slain by the LORD will be many."
Isaiah 66:15-16
It has been apparent to me for some time - and to others in the body of Christ - that God's hand is stretched out in judgment against the USA. It has also been apparent that this judgment is now set and in fact is close at hand. I myself have received a vision of the destruction of San Francisco that made me cry out concerning the state of its inhabitants, then much later was brought into a participation in what the Lord told me was His weeping over Washington D.C. that He said was like unto how He had wept over Jerusalem. But I have found that there is quite a bit online in the way of prophecy concerning this subject, so I am compiling what I have found and linking to it from this page in order that those who are truly burdened for this country might peruse what has been revealed to us from the Lord. Even though the judgment has been set by God and His hand will not be stayed, He calls upon the church to intercede, for many will perish in the destruction of the nation. Not only that, but intercession is necessary if the nation is to be resurrected. The timing of this judgment is crucial not only because of the stench of America's sin as she has forsaken the covenant made with God by the founding fathers and has engaged in the abomination of massacring millions of babies, but also because all outside help for Israel must cease as the nations of the world turn against her and she must realize that her only help is from God - and specifically from the One whom "they have pierced..." (Zech. 12:10) Israel will accept terms of peace from the anti-christ because he will appear to have the solution to her political problems. However, her problems are not political but spiritual, and when Jesus Christ Himself returns, a remnant will recognize Him as the true Messiah. But as I said, God wants the believers to intercede much as Abraham did for Sodom:
"Then the men rose up from there, and looked down toward Sodom; and Abraham was walking with them to send them off. And the LORD said, "Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do.....The outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah is indeed great, and their sin is exceedingly grave. I will go down now, and see if they have done entirely according to its outcry, which has come to Me; and if not, I will know." Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, while Abraham was still standing before the LORD. And Abraham came near and said, "Wilt Thou indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked? Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city; wilt Thou indeed sweep {it} away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous who are in it? Far be it from Thee to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are {treated} alike. Far be it from Thee! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly?" So the LORD said, "If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the whole place on their account."God's angels removed Lot and his family from Sodom before He destroyed it. And as He also protected the three Israelites in the fiery furnace and Daniel in the lion's den, so He shall protect the body of Christ during His judgment of America and the rest of the world.

The Destruction of America
and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation,
and his tongue as a devouring fire: And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard,
and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger,
and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones." (Isaiah 30:27, 30)
"Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times;
and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming;
but my people know not the judgment of the Lord." (Jeremiah 8:7)
America is going to be destroyed by fire! Sudden destruction is coming and few will escape. Unexpectedly, and in one hour, a hydrogen holocaust will engulf America -- and this nation will be no more.
It is because America has sinned against the greatest light. Other nations are just as sinful, but none are as flooded with gospel light as ours. God is going to judge America for its violence, its crimes, its backsliding, its murdering of millions of babies, its flaunting of homosexuality and sadomasochism, its corruption, its drunkenness and drug abuse, its form of godliness without power, its lukewarmness toward Christ, its rampant divorce and adultery, its lewd pornography, its child molestations, its cheatings, its robbings, its dirty movies, and its occult practices.
In one hour it will all be over. To the natural mind it is insanity to come against a prosperous, powerful nation and cry out, "It's all over! Judgment is at the door! Our days are numbered!" The Church is asleep, the congregations are at ease, and the shepherds slumber. How they will scoff and laugh at this message. Theologians will reject it because they can't fit it into their doctrine. The pillow prophets of peace and prosperity will publicly denounce it.
I no longer care. God has made my face like flint and put steel in my backbone. I am blowing the Lord's trumpet with all my might. Let the whole world and all the church call me crazy, but I must blow the trumpet and awaken God's people. Believe it or not, America is about to be shaken and set aside by swift and horrible judgments. Many other praying believers who have been shut in with God are hearing the very same message - "Judgment is at the door! Prepare, awaken!"
The great eagle with great wings is about to fall from its lofty position on the highest branch of all nations. The vine that was planted "in a land of traffic, in a city of merchants, by great waters" is about to die. "It was planted in a good soil by great wathers, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bear fruit, that it might be a goodly vine." (Ezekiel 17:8)
God's prophetic word from Ezekiel to Israel is also God's word for America. "Thus saith the Lord God, Shall it prosper? Shall he not pull op the roots thereof,...that it wither? It shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof....Shall it not utterly wither, when the east wind toucheth it?" (Ezekiel 17:9, 10)
Oh, what horrible and swift judgments are just ahead, very imminent, upon this nation that has cast aside holiness and repentance. I hear the prophets crying out, "She was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered,; the fire consumed them." Ezekiel 19:12)
It is a day of vengeance and judgment against sin. The Lord has promised to judge His people who hath done despite to the grace of God." "For we know Him who hath said,Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." (Hebrews 10:30, 31)
I see Almighty God even now slowly turning His back on this nation. America is on the verge of committing the unpardonable sin by resisting the Holy Ghost. Soon, there will be repentance only for individuals, but not for the nation."
This prophecy and others are analyzed in "Judgments in the Earth" by Bill Somers. Mr. Somers' conclusion in this article is: "So America is Saved in that it is not to be judged unto desolation and utterly destroyed at the Second Coming of Jesus. It will be judged, purged, purified and restored as a Godly covenant nation ready for the return of the master." Mr.. Somers is of course entitled to his opinion. What is certain is God's judgment on America. But what then? Certainly God can revive the nation after the judgment, though I personally see no evidence that this will take place unless the body of Christ intercedes. Only catastrophe is prophesied for the earth. But that is why the body of Christ must intercede. Jesus asks (rhetorically) of His return:
"For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him. You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, who remembers You in Your ways. You are indeed angry, for we have sinned-- in these ways we continue; and we need to be saved. But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. And there is no one who calls on Your name, who stirs himself up to take hold of You; for You have hidden Your face from us, and have consumed us because of our iniquities." Isa 64:4-7
Also, we should remember when considering Ninevah and its repentance as a result of Jonah's message: Ninevah IMMEDIATELY repented - they didn't sit around discussing whether they were going to. These prophecies have been going forth here in America for years. Has anyone observed any national repentance? Ninevah was faced with the spoken message of the prophet and repented. America has heard the spoken and written words of many prophets over many years and has turned a deaf ear. If there is repentance in America, there is no reason (or evidence) to believe it will be a "national" repentance." Individuals will repent - but the majority will not. Instead, they will continue to do as they are doing now: "blaspheming." (Rev. 16:9,11,21) Will the repentence of a few be enough to bring resurrection to America? Read David Wilkerson's The Last Days of America and Dumitru Duduman's America Will Burn . "But I have told you these things now, so that when they occur you will remember that I told you of them." (John 16:4) Christians in America with very good intentions have been diligently praying for their country according to God's promise in 2 Chron. 7:14. They have their private vision as to how they think God will answer their prayers. Unfortunately, this "vision" is not from God but from man's flesh. One of life's hard experiences as a Christian is the necessity to learn that God has His own way of doing things: "Even so, every good tree bears good fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire." Matt 7:17-19 "It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned." Heb 6:4-8
"For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain terrifying expectation of judgment, and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries. Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, 'Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.' And again, 'The Lord will judge His people.' It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God." Heb 10:26-31"And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" Luke 18:7-8
The Book of Revelation tells us:"And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" Rev 6:15-17
"Seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and He will have compassion on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. 'For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,' declares the LORD. 'For {as} the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth, and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; So shall My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding {in the matter} for which I sent it.'" Isa 55:6-11
God's ways are different than our own. The covenant that this country's forefathers made with their Creator in founding this nation has been broken, trampled on, openly spurned and finally rejected. God is now mocked where He once was revered. The men and women who earnestly pray while quoting God's 2 Chron. 7:14 promise think that all they have to do is fall on their faces before God and then go out and work for political solutions to this country's problems and somehow God is bound according to 2 Chron. 7:14 to "bless" their efforts. As a matter of fact, they apparently fail to realize that verse 14 is given in the context of God's judgment already in progress in verse 13. There are even those who are so deceived as to actually believe that they can physically bring about Christ's millennial kingdom in doing this. God is obligated to "wave a magic wand". No He is not. In all their fleshly efforts, they focus only on the latter part of God's promise in 2 Chron. 7:14 while completely ignoring the key injunction to "...seek My face..." as they religiously stumble through the first part of the verse."And He summoned the multitude with His disciples, and said to them, 'If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's shall save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? For what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?'" Mark 8:34-37
God's Word speaks plainly and nothing needs to be added to it. America is under God's judgment and will reap the consequences of its willfulness. But He calls upon His people to pray, intercede and warn others of the impending judgment. Though the nation itself will perish, individuals can still be saved from the wrath to come.
"Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it. But small is the gate, and narrow is the way that leads to life, and few are those who find it." Matt 7:13-14"Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him." 2 Pet 3:11-14
There is just one solution: "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and He will have compassion on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon." Isa 55:7
In 1863, at a crossroads of American history and during the depths of the Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln issued a "Proclamation for a National Day of Fasting, Humiliation and Prayer":
"We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power, as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us! It behoves us, then to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and pray for clememncy and forgiveness."This was written by the Judge in Alabama who was sued by the ACLU for having the ten commandments in his courtroom:

America the Beautiful or so you used to be
Land of the Pilgrims' pride, I'm glad they'll never see
Babies piled in dumpsters, Abortion on demand,

But America the Beautiful if you don't, then you will see,
A sad but Holy God withdraw His hand from thee.When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask Your forgiveness and to seek Your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, "Woe to those who call evil good" but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls responding negatively. The church is now receiving international requests for copies of this prayer from India, Africa, and Korea. Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on "The Rest of the Story"on the radio and received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired. With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and wholeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be called one nation under God.
We confess that.
We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it Pluralism;
We have worshipped other gods and called it multiculturalism;
We have endorsed perversion and called it alternative lifestyle;
We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery;
We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare;
We have killed our unborn and called it choice;
We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable;
We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem;
We have abused power and called it politics;
We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition;
We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression;

Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free. Guide and bless these men and women who have been sent to direct us to the center of Your will, to open ask it in the name of Your Son, the living Savior, Jesus Christ.
